Acupuncture
Conventional Acupuncture is an ancient form of needle therapy which is gaining more and more popularity in the Western world for the treatment of acute and chronic pain along with many more ailments. During a treatment, very thin, solid, hairlike needles are inserted at specific points on the body. In Chinese these points are called “neural nodes” (jie) and the stimulation of these nodes affects both the central and peripheral nervous systems. It triggers the release of the body’s internal chemicals such as endorphins and enkephalins, which have pain-relieving properties. If you have pain that is lingering or is not being treated by other modalities, then acupuncture offers a time-tested, very reliable method of pain relief. Acupuncture has also been demonstrated to induce certain hormones, such as cortisol, which will assist in stress reduction and tension relief. Further, specific chemicals released by the brain such as dopamine and serotonin can assist with anxiety relief and a good night’s sleep. Acupuncture is truly a whole body and mind treatment.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which the acupuncturist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. It helps with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Gua Shua
Gua Sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scraping your skin with a massage tool to improve your circulation. This ancient Chinese healing technique may offer a unique approach to better health, addressing issues like chronic pain. It is intended to address stagnant energy, called qi, in the body that practitioners believe may be responsible for inflammation. Inflammation is the underlying cause of several conditions associated with chronic pain. Rubbing the skin’s surface is thought to help break up this energy, reduce inflammation, and promote healing.
Tuina
Tuina (pronounced "twee nah") is a form of Oriental bodywork that has been used in China for centuries. A combination of massage, acupressure and other forms of body manipulation, tuina works by applying pressure to acupoints, meridians and groups of muscles or nerves to remove blockages that prevent the free flow of qi. Tuina is best suited for rectifying chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions and stress-related disorders that affect the digestive and/or respiratory systems. There is anecdotal evidence that headaches, constipation, premenstrual symptoms and some emotional problems may also be effectively treated through tuina.

This nonsurgical treatment includes facial acupuncture, and buccal facial massage with an herbal oil. Hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points on the face and body to stimulate collagen production. This in turn hydrates, nourishes, tomes, reduces appearance of wrinkles, and puffiness, and rejuvenates your whole being. It is specifically designed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, tone sagging facial muscles, and rejuvenate dull, lifeless, or aging skin. It is also a great preventative treatment for signs of aging. It is designed to make you look and feel your best and leaves you refreshed, rejuvenated and serene. Make it your turn to experience bliss!
Electro Acupuncture
Electro acupuncture is quite similar to traditional acupuncture in that the same points are stimulated during treatment. It has been effectively used as a form of anesthesia; as a pain reliever for muscle spasms; and a treatment for neurological disorders. Other studies have examined the role of electro acupuncture in treating skin conditions such as acne, renal colic, and acute nausea caused by cancer medications. There is also some evidence that electrical stimulation of acupuncture points activates the endorphin system, which could lower blood pressure and reduce heart disease.
Trigger Point Acupuncture
Trigger Point Acupuncture is an extremely effective method for release of tight, knotted muscles. It seeks to generate repeated, involuntary twitching from the suspect muscle or muscle group and usually leads to an immediate reduction of the tightness as well as a reduction or elimination of the related problems. It is one of the safest ways to address physical problems.
